BYD has announced its June 2026 sales results, reporting a total of 403,472 vehicles sold during the month. Passenger vehicle deliveries reached 397,292 units, which represents a 5.4% increase from the previous month and a 5.2% rise year-over-year.
Consumer demand continues to be evenly split between pure electric and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrains. In June, BYD sold 201,472 pure electric vehicles alongside 195,820 plug-in hybrids, reflecting a near 50:50 split in customer preference.
Overseas market momentum
The company exported 174,897 passenger vehicles and pickup trucks in June, marking a 95% surge compared to the same month last year. For the first half of 2026, BYD’s cumulative overseas sales stand at 789,367 units.

Dynasty & Ocean series highlights
The Dynasty series remains a cornerstone of BYD’s volume. The Yuan (Atto) model emerged as the top performer, breaking the 70,000-unit mark with 72,546 sales in June, bringing its first-half cumulative total to 234,163 units. The Song followed closely with 53,653 units. Other models included the Qin (14,900 units), while the Tang and Han both maintained monthly sales between 5,000 and 9,000 units. The newly launched Xia (named M9 internationally) recorded over 1,000 units.
