On June 23, 2026, Li Auto officially launched the 2026 Li L8, a five-seater EREV SUV in China. The model is offered in two trims: Ultra and Livis, with customer deliveries set to begin this week.
Pricing
The Ultra trim is priced at 359,800 yuan ($52,900), while the Livis trim costs 419,800 yuan ($61,700).
Design and Dimensions
The 2026 Li L8 adopts a five-seat layout with a short front overhang and long rear overhang. Its exterior features a fastback silhouette, full-width front and rear lighting, and a gloss-black rear diffuser. The vehicle measures 5,135 mm in length, 2,000 mm in width, and 1,800 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,045 mm. Trunk volume stands at 820 liters, with a depth of 1,113 mm. Under-floor compartments add 15 L and 95 L of storage.


Intelligent Driving
The Ultra trim comes with the Mach intelligent driving assistance system, powered by a single Mach M100 chip (1,280 TOPS). It includes seven 8-megapixel cameras and an ATL-P high-performance LiDAR. The Livis trim upgrades to an embodied intelligence suite with dual Mach M100 chips (2,560 TOPS total), seven 8-megapixel cameras, an ATL-P LiDAR, and three solid-state variable-focus LiDARs.
Interior
The cabin features a 29-inch 6K panoramic screen and a 21-inch 4K mobile screen. Front-row zero-gravity seats and a five-seat, six-zone intelligent air conditioning system are standard. The audio system delivers 4,720 W through 27 speakers, with nearly 1,000 W output. Rear passengers get folding tables, vanity mirrors, dual wireless/wired phone charging, electric side window shades, and ceiling-mounted door controls.
Performance and Chassis
The 2026 Li L8 is powered by a 72.7 kWh 5C range-extender battery, offering a pure electric range of 430 km and a combined range of 1,670 km, with fuel consumption of 6.2 L/100 km. The Ultra trim features a wire-controlled "Magic Carpet" chassis with dual-valve continuously variable damping shock absorbers, steer-by-wire, and rear-wheel steering, resulting in a turning radius of 5.1 meters. The Livis trim adds an 800V active suspension system and EMB (Electro-Mechanical Brake) wire-controlled braking.

Over the past 12 months, Li L8 sales in China have declined year-on-year; in May, only 421 units were sold, a 92.1% drop compared to the same month last year.
